Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the air passages that carry air from the nasal area and mouth to lungs and vice versa. Tips To Cure Asthma Wheezing Naturally

Honey

Honey is a natural healing agent and also has mild anti inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help in removing the bacteria causing the cough and also in preventing the inflammation that causes the asthma wheezing to be triggered. Honey is also an immune system booster and hence helps in removing asthma wheezing within a few hours of inhalation and internal intake. Take organic honey in a jar and inhale the aroma. You can also take a teaspoon of honey several times a day for reducing the inflammation. Honey works best if taken along with ginger juice or garlic cloves as they too have anti bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Mustard Oil

Take some mustard oil and mix camphor in it. Massage with it all over the chest, till you get relief from the asthma. Make sure that you warm the oil before massaging with it so that your chest feels the warmth and gets relieved quickly.

Turmeric

Having antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties, turmeric too is a wonderful remedy for treating asthma wheezing. Take half a teaspoon of freshly ground powder of turmeric and add it to a glass of warm water. Drink this every day for asthma wheezing to come down. With continuous intake, the symptoms too will be reduced and the patient will have better control of asthma. It is the curcumin that is present in turmeric that has anti inflammatory properties.

Onions

Onions are known to have anti-inflammatory properties, and they are proved to be helpful in clearing air passages. So, if you are suffering from asthma, you should consume more and more of onions, be it in raw form in a salad or cooked in vegetables.

Lemon Juice

The juice of lemon when taken every day will keep the mucous under control and prevent the clogging of the airways that cause asthma wheezing. Take one tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice every day morning to prevent the asthma wheezing from cropping up. A glass of lemon juice without sugar too can help keep the airways clear and reduce the instances of cough and cold.

Coffee

The caffeine in regular coffee can help control asthma attacks because it acts as a bronchodilator. Hot coffee helps relax and clear the airways to help you to breathe easier. The stronger the coffee, the better the result. But try not to drink more than three cups of black coffee in a day. If you do not like coffee, you can opt for a cup of hot black tea. Do not use caffeine as a regular treatment though.
